video game design, concept art for computer racing game

Centipede developed a new concept for a racing game. The innovative part of the game concept start with the way the vehicles speed is determined. Each vehicles has only one wheel like a ball. The ball always rotates at the same speed. By enlarging and shrinking the ball the speed will be adjusted. The ball can have a diameter of 100 meters and the view with this tremendous speed is astonishing.

The game is a mix of a race game and a first-person-shooter. During the race a player will be able to ride free at the track while looking for opponents to eliminate. Power-ups will be available throughout the level to help reaching your goal.
